The natural beauty of the landscape has attracted many well-known people to live here leading to the construction of designer villas in the extensive surrounding area. The village has a fine, old church as well as a number of typical bars and restaurants. You may enjoy eating a delicious fish meal in the shade of pine trees in one of the quaint beach bars in the bay. Some of the finest beaches on the island may be reached within ten minutes drive including; the famous Blue Marlin, the fabulous sandy beach at las Salinas or Cala Vadella.
